The semiconductor industry is Taiwan's national treasure, and maintaining Taiwan's technological advantages is absolutely necessary for the development of the industry. The center, led by Academician Hu Chenming, is committed to developing bottleneck technologies that have no solutions in the current industry, and assisting Taiwan's semiconductor technology improvement. The first phase of the MOE deep cultivation project has established a successful foundation, and the second phase of the project will invite the cross field of R&D team consists of 30 professors in Yang Ming Chiao Tung University to participate and devote to promote the research and development of the five major themes of forward-looking semiconductor technologies. At the same time, Taiwan Semiconductor Research institute (TSRI), Academia Sinica, etc. are also invited to participate, and cooperate with important manufacturers in the semiconductor industry, with close cooperation, strive to develop future semiconductor forward-looking innovative technologies, and assist Taiwan to become a world pioneer in semiconductor technology research.
